MANAGEMENT OF NON-HAZARDOUS SOLID WASTES

Any substance or object included in the waste category of Annexes IA and IB of JMD 50910/2003 is defined as solid (non-hazardous waste) and its holder should discard or intents or is obliged to reject.

PELCO, aiming at providing integrated services as to the management of waste is listed in the Registry of Managers of Non-Hazardous Waste of the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate change under no: 1064.

Having developed a network for the collection, transfer and distribution of non-hazardous solid wastes, according to their type (Sanitary Landfill, Recycling Units), we are holders of:

  • License for the Collection and Transfer of Non-hazardous Solid Wastes in the Region of Attica.
  • License for the Collection and Transfer of Non-hazardous Solid Wastes in the Region of the Peloponnese.
  • License for the Collection and Transfer of Non-hazardous Solid Wastes in the Region of Central Greece.

All the collection and transfer services for non-hazardous solid wastes is managed by PELCO's experienced personnel and company-owned vehicles, according to the existing legislation while they are accompanied by all the necessary documents for their collection and transfer.

The distribution of non-hazardous solid wastes is managed according to their type to licensed recycling units or sanitary landfills.
